Al Ahly Momkn, Al Ahly Payment Holding Unveil New Leadership Appointments
Al Ahly Momkn, Egypt’s leading electronic collection platform, announced new leadership changes within its organizational structure as part of a strategy aimed at strengthening growth and expanding in the digital payments and fintech services sector.
The changes include the appointment of Ahmed Enayet as Chairman of the Board of Al Ahly Momkn, in addition to his role as CEO of Al Ahly Payments Holding Group. This step reflects the group’s direction toward enhancing integration across its various entities and supporting its expansion plans.
Al Ahly Payments Holding Company—one of the subsidiaries of the National Bank of Egypt—operates a number of companies under its umbrella, including Al Ahly Momkn for electronic collection services and Al Ahly Tamkeen.
Meanwhile, the company announced the appointment of Ahmed Farouk Ghazi as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Al Ahly Momkn, succeeding Ahmed Enayet, as part of a strategy aimed at continuing growth and enhancing innovation in digital payment solutions and fintech services.
The company confirmed that these changes come within a comprehensive vision to strengthen leadership efficiency, support digital transformation efforts, and expand fintech services in the Egyptian market in line with the rapid developments in the electronic payments sector.
Ahmed Enayet’s appointment to these leadership positions follows a successful tenure at Al Ahly Momkn, during which he contributed to significant business growth, expansion of service networks, and strengthening the company’s position as one of the leading electronic payment companies affiliated with the National Bank of Egypt.
Ahmed Farouk Ghazi stated that Al Ahly Momkn represents more than just a company to him, as he is one of its founders. He noted that the company started with a team of no more than 100 employees and has now grown to more than 1,500 employees, driven by continuous expansion and team efforts.
He added that the upcoming phase will focus more on developing innovative digital payment solutions and enhancing services in support of the state’s direction toward financial inclusion and digital transformation.
Ahmed Farouk Ghazi is considered one of the prominent figures in the electronic payments sector, with extensive experience in operations, sales, technical support, business management, and distribution across regional and international markets. He previously served as Vice CEO and Co-Founder of Al Ahly Momkn.
Ghazi has also held several leadership positions, including Head of the Commercial Sector at Al Ahly Momkn, in addition to his previous experience at STC Bahrain and Orange Egypt, where he contributed to developing sales strategies and strengthening distribution networks
